Recycled polyamide is made from plastic from industrial waste and from plastic from the oceans, such as fishing nets and plastic mats. Recycled polyester is made primarily from plastic bottles and industrial waste. It uses less water and less energy in production. It also generates up to 30% less CO2 emissions compared to virgin polyester. All recycled yarns come from GRS-certified suppliers (GRS - Global Recycle Standard). This is an independent, third-party certification of recycled content that focuses on traceability, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions.
