The front of the jacket, the lower back, and the sleeves are made of a three-layer softshell material with an integrated 100% waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane. This is your shield against cold weather and fog. The protective three-layer fabric has a high stretch profile for a close and comfortable fit, while the jacket's raglan sleeves offer freedom of movement and the raw-cut cuffs create an effective seal around your wrists. In areas where the fully waterproof membrane fabric isn't used, such as the lower sleeves and the upper back, a soft, brushed fleece fabric is used for added breathability and stretch. This fleece fabric, like the softshell fabric, is treated with a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish – so it effectively blocks rain showers and spray. A YKK® Vislon two-way zipper with extra-long pullers is used on the jacket to easily manage airflow through your layers and prevent overheating when you're working hard.
